The requirements in modern machining technology are becoming increasingly varied. These must be accepted and solved with an innovative spirit. The Tritan-Drill-Steel, the Tritan-Spot-Drill-Steel for pilot drilling and the Tritan-Step-Drill-Steel for stepped bores.
We have also further developed the MEGA-Speed-Drill especially for machining steel materials. The optimised tool geometry enables customers to apply double cutting speeds and significantly higher feeds than can be achieved with conventional double-edged solid carbide drills.
We have refined the micro- and macro geometry of the proven solid carbide drills from the MEGA-Quadro-Drill series in order to obtain a real “Plus” for you. As a result, the new tools have a tool life that is up to 50 percent longer than their predecessors.
With an optimised point thinning and two guiding chamfers, the new MEGA-Step-Drill-Steel-Plus brings about a considerable increase in wear resistance and performance.
The new MEGA-Drill-Hardened processes workpiece materials with a hardness of up to 65 HRC reliably and cost-effectively.
To achieve this effect, we have revised the drill’s micro- and macro geometry and opted for a new carbide substrate. Significantly longer tool lives are the result.
